Ready to make your yard an oasis? We will come out to your house and walk your yard with you discussing your ideas. This process will involve initial plans, bidding, and final designs.
Now it’s time to submit our plans to the city and acquire permits to begin construction. We make sure all plans comply with state and local building requirements to ensure a smooth process. We will also help you get HOA approval.
Once all of the designs are finalized and permits are approved, we will come out and lay out the pool. This layout will show the shape, size, and location of the pool in your yard for the excavation crew.
Our excavation crew will come in and start digging the pool. We will use a large excavator to dig the pool and bobcat to shuttle dirt out of the yard. You will most likely need to repair irrigation, but we will handle that at the end of the project.
The plumbing is designed to give your pool the best circulation for easy maintenance and crystal clear water. We install all of the plumbing lines and ensure that they are the correct size for water clarity.
Now it’s time to add the steel reinforcement for the shell of the pool to give it strength per the engineering plans. This will include bars of steel placed horizontally and vertically specifically engineered for your pool.
Our master electricians will install all of the electrical components of the pool equipment and run the lines to the main electrical box. If you have a gas heater or built-in grill, gas lines will be run from the main gas meter in the front of the house to the equipment.
Now that the structure is ready, we can shoot the gunite. Gunite is shot through a high-pressure hose to create the hard shell of the pool. Upon completion, you will need to lightly water the gunite to allow the concrete to cure slowly. We will also need to wait 5-7 days before moving to the next step.
At this point, we are ready to install the tile along the waterline. Once that is complete, we install the coping around the pool edge and any water features such as waterfalls, sheer descents, deckjets, and laminars.
The project is now ready for decking/patio. The two most popular options in Texas are concrete or pavers. Concrete can be coated, dyed, washed, or stamped to give it dimension. Pavers have become more desirable due to their look and longevity. The size of the decking will determine the number of days it will require to finish.
During this step, the project is ready for additional outdoor living structures and features to be constructed and installed. This includes outdoor kitchens, pergolas, arbors, retaining walls, and fire features.
Your project is getting close to being completed. Our team will remove all construction materials and waste from the site and prepare the pool surface to be coated.
At this point, we start applying the finish to the pool surface. The most popular finish is Pebbletech, which is shot out of a high-pressure hose. Once the surface has cured for 24 hours, we then come back and perform an acid wash.
You’re probably ready to jump in the pool by now! Luckily we’re ready to fill the pool and start-up the equipment. Our start-up crew is there to get the water moving and balance the water chemistry. We will also review the equipment and care instructions at this time.
The pool is done, outdoor living is installed, and now we’re ready to install the plants and fix the irrigation. Our landscape teams add the final touches to your project with trees, shrubs, and flowers. Once completed, we will do a final cleanup and take photos.
